Child Safety Standards

Fifefy · CodeThread Solutions Pvt Ltd

Effective October 16, 2026

1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Fifefy, operated by CodeThread Solutions Pvt Ltd, does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • CSAM in any form: photos, videos, drawings, AI-generated or edited images, and links to such material
  • Grooming: contacting, befriending or pressuring a minor for sexual purposes
  • Sextortion: threatening to share, or demanding, intimate images of a minor
  • Sexualised comments about minors, or content that sexualises them
  • Trafficking, or offering or soliciting a minor for any sexual purpose
  • Requesting, sharing or trading such material, or directing people to it elsewhere

These standards apply everywhere on Fifefy: posts, replies, Fliks, Flash stories, profiles, Daily Pulse answers, and private and group chats.

2. Fifefy is for adults only

You must be 18 or older to use Fifefy. Every new account, including those created with Google or Apple sign-in, must confirm a date of birth showing the user is at least 18. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

3. How we detect and act

  • Uploaded images are checked against known child sexual abuse material using Microsoft PhotoDNA. Matches are blocked from view and quarantined for review.
  • Automated classifiers flag potentially harmful content, and every user report is reviewed by our team.
  • When we find CSAE or CSAM we remove it, permanently ban the accounts involved, and preserve the evidence as the law requires.
  • We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to Indian law enforcement, as required by law.

4. How to report

  • In the app or on the web: use Report from the ••• menu on any post, profile, Flash story or chat message.
  • By email: write to support@codethreadsolutions.com with the subject "Child safety", including the username and a link to the content.
  • Do not download, screenshot, forward or attach abusive images of a child, even to report them. Sharing them is illegal; a link or username is enough for us to act.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 or your local police. In India you can also report at cybercrime.gov.in; elsewhere, contact your local authorities or the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org).

5. Compliance with the law

We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012, the Information Technology Act 2000 (including Section 67B) and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, and we cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
