We must ask ourselves: if the ultimate goal is casteless society, why do we continue to institutionalise divisions? Access to resources and quality education must be guaranteed to all underprivileged citizens based strictly on economic need. However, once educated, every individual should enter the workforce on a level playing field, where opportunities are earned through talent and performance, not identity.
