Meme * Coined in 1976 by scientist Richard Dawkins in his book The Selfish Gene. * Derived from the Greek word mimema, meaning "imitated thing". * Meant to sound like "gene" because it acts as a unit of cultural transmission that replicates and evolves. #memes #fun #idea #creativity
