Story- Cursed Antique Mirror Part -4: The Glass Cage The double looked up from the floor, wearing Elena’s own face distorted into a cruel, triumphant grin. It lunged forward to seize her. Elena did not run. Instead, she realized the truth: if the creature copied her form, it had to obey the laws of her physical world, including her own movements. Elena thrust her arms straight out, mirroring the creature's exact stance. The entity froze mid-air, locked in place by the perfect symmetry of their actions. Elena took a deliberate step backward; the creature was forced to mimic her, stepping backward onto the reassembled glass floor. With a final, explosive effort, Elena closed her eyes tightly and threw her hands over her face. The creature was forced to do the same, blinding itself. Elena immediately opened her eyes, grabbed the iron poker, and shattered the floor beneath the entity. The makeshift mirror dissolved into dust, dragging the screaming double back down into the void. The lights flickered back on, filling the room with warm, safe brightness. Elena looked into the blank wall where the antique mirror once hung, seeing only her own true, uninterrupted reflection in the polished wood. She was finally alone, and she was free. #suspense #thriller #horror
